27th November 2005 - Day 55

You know it's time to do some cleaning when you see this:

Spider webs forming

Besides clearing away the spider webs, I also
  • Wiped the surfaces of my shelves and table.
  • Wiped the windows.
  • Cleaned the heater.
  • Washed the wash basin.
  • Vaccumed the floor.
The tremendous amount of dust (if allowed to accumulate) would probably suffocate me one day while I'm asleep. Or I might house the biggest domesticated spider in Germany. Or hold the title for the highest number of spiders per square metre. Not a good idea.

The whole process took slightly less than 2 hours. Not that my room is that big, but rather because I was doing it slowly.

No more spider webs

There's a place for everything and everything's in place.

Beds should be made after waking up.

I attempted to do some translation for my lecture notes, but ended up watching L'Auberge Espagnole (The Spanish Apartment). It's a relatively old film (2002) that focuses on a french ERASMUS student (exchange student from the European Union) doing his exchange in Barcelona. Quite interesting. I wonder why I did not watch it earlier.

It feels good to dedicate a day every week to do whatever you like, even though it's just sorting out your own stuffs. Not too long, not too short. A day every week is enough.

Man, I'm taking things way too easy.

So, I shall do some reading up to get back in momentum.

Exams over and you're ready for ICT? Have fun. I'll be missing out on all the action. High key ICT. Must distribute the stores to the individual detachments for them to take charge. Accountability.
