26th November 2005 - Day 54

I had to wake up early this morning because I was going to visit Strasbourg in France.

A Singaporean, Augustine, who is studying in Mannheim, has kindly offered to be our tour guide and bring Autumn and me around.
I've never seen Augustine before. We were to meet on the train to Wissembourg.

My ability to recognise a Singaporean did not fail me. I manage to locate him once we boarded the train.
Ok, the fact that it was a two-carriage train, and that he was the only Asian on the train helped.

It was quite a nice trip on the whole. It did give a different feeling compared to being in a german city. It could be largely psychological though. Especially when the two of them prefer France much more to Germany. But,
Strasbourg is indeed quite a charming city.

Petite France

The Catherdral at Strasbourg

The same Catherdral but at a different time.

Still early. Not many people yet.

Another Catherdral

I realised that the French to pay more attention to make things more eye-pleasing. For example,

Even the crane needs some decorative lights.

So, I'm tired after such a long day and shall take a rest now.
