19th November 2005 - Day 47
According to somebody's plan, we were to meet at 0730 for breakfast in the morning before heading for the Dom.
Jason and I were down in the breakfast room at 0732. Apparently, we were the earliest. Then the people came trickling in. We left for the Dom at 0850.
Entrance for students is 1€. In about 20 minutes, all of us reached the top. And found traces of other Singaporean before us.
It was misty up there. My hands were numb after a while. Bought a postcard of the Dom after World War II from a counter near the top of the Dom. The man selling the postcards climbs the Dom everyday. It's really no sweat for him.
After the climb up, we met up with the rest of the people to go for a walk up Siebengebirge in Königswinter. We were quite lucky that the sky cleared up and the weather was relatively good.
But my camera ran out of battery.
After the hike, we were left to wander around in Köln.
Dinner was at a restaurant selling Turkish food. It was a nightmare for the boss when the 25 of us asked to pay the bill separately.
Then we went back to hostel. Then we separated into 2 groups. One group was playing charades, the other went to Taco Loco for a drink.
I make it sound so boring.
So, that was the end of yet another day.
