11th November 2005 - Day 39

The sun appeared again. But the temperature has hit 2 degree Celcius. I'm still enjoying the cool weather here.

The lecturer for one of my modules has finally figured out that I am not a full time student in the University of Karlsruhe. But I'm sure he figured (albeit wrongly) that I'm from China.

I've a bad habit to kick.

After people here asked me where I'm from, I've a strong urge to ask them, "and do you know where that is?".

Oh well, they aren't really familiar with the other side of the World map. Like I didn't know where Finland is.

After lunch, I went to wander in the city. I passed by Europaplatz and decided to go to the Bank and ask them something regarding the Visa card here.

It turns out that they deducted 5€ wrongly from my account. They thought that I was using the card for the 2nd year. Or that I didn't apply for the card at the time I opened the account.

I should expect to see my 5€ appearing in my Konto within 14 days, I was told. Anyway, I am still quite pleased with the customer service of Postbank so far.

I found out that most of the Weihnachtsmarkt will only start in 2 weeks' time. I'll most probably be visiting the ones in Stuttgart, Heidelberg, Rothenberg and maybe Nürnberg. I also forsee that I'll visit the markets and buy nothing.

Wanted to go visit France originally, but now there's some Krawalle in the country. So the plan's postponed indefinitely.

So, I wonder why I'm doing all these things when I haven't even figure out my lecture notes.
