18th November 2005 - Day 46

I woke up this morning and started to pack up for the Köln trip later in the afternoon as I should be meeting Jason at around 1500.

Because I was too engrossed with the packing, I forgot the time and had to walk to the lecture venue.

I sat through the lecture followed by yet another lecture before heading for lunch. I met Alex at the Mensa queue. Wanted to join him, but couldn't find him. Then I walked back to hostel to get the remainder of the stuffs packed in.

As I was taking the bus to Jason's place, I realised that there were white specks on cars and on the ground. Which means that the ambient temperature is around zero degrees Celcius?

I got to Jason's place on time but we had to wait another hour before Wayne arrives from Stuttgart to pick us up. I forgot to bring along my belt, instead of going back to take it, Jason helped me borrowed one from his neighbour.

Wayne came together with Yvonne and soon we're on our way to Köln. As there was a jam (usual Friday evening), the trip took around 4 hours.

We reached at the Jugendherberge Köln-Riehl, met up with some other people, and went for dinner at some Chinese/Mexican/Italian/Thai Imbiss and had fried noodles.

Then we went to the Discoraum back in the Jugendherberge. I finally met up with Yun in Köln after 2 failed attempts in the past 2.5 years. I practically stood at the same spot for 3 hours talking to him!

The party turned out to be a not-so-well-lighted room with lots of people talking and loud music.

So, it wasn't until 0300 before I was in bed.
