6th March 2006 - Day 140

Lab today was at a venue which I was not sure of. I left earlier and walked to the place instead of waiting for the bus.

The snow had melted and re-froze, making the ground surface a little slippery.

I saw Alex (another Alex, not the one mentioned in previous entries) outside the building because he couldn't find the entrance. We went around looking for the entrance and following all the sign-posting on the way, it led me to a building where I usually have lectures.

We followed the Betreuer to the lab. There, he began to ask questions regarding today's experiment.

He wasn't particularly pleased with the performance of the group as there were some questions which we couldn't answer. It was assumed that we did not read up for this session.

I could have answered the questions. But it wasn't directed to me. He was getting a bit frustrated. He threatened us that he could tell us to go away for 3 hours and read the experiment again before we start again.

But I was quite sure it wouldn't happen. He said it himself immediately after the threat.

The experiment was actually kinderleicht. It was finished in less than 45 minutes. But the discussion part took up a lot of time.

It was 1055 by the time we finished. I ran to the secretary to ask her regarding my transcript. Managed to catch her before she closes at 1100. I was all flustered and couldn't speak properly. But somehow, she understood what I was babbling.

After sorting things out, I left my address with her so that she would be able to send the transcript to me. I haven't been writing my home address for quite some time. It looked funny and I thought something was missing even though all information was there.

Next up, liaise with the other secretary to ask her to send the Teilnahmeschein to the first secretary instead of the Prüfungsamt.

I met up with the lab group to do a bit of lab report at the cafeteria. After which, I went off for lunch.

Graphs for this experiment can be plotted using a computer, much to my delight. No need to draw all the messy graphs and risk making myself blind from marking the points. Still, I took slightly longer than expected.

I got back here and continued with my water regime. Slight improvement. But I believe I will recover miraculously after the Prüfung on Wednesday.

So, still lots more revision to do.

Not so sure about that. But even if they have it, I'll probably be back in town.
