5th March 2006 - Day 139

A lazy Sunday spent in the hostel.

Still having a runny nose. Apparently, I need to drink more water and get more rest. I know! I haven't drank enough water! How can I forget? Let me try the 3-2-1 method.

The 3-2-1 method of fluid intake is the result of many years of experiment (conducted by yours truly on yours truly). Basically, it starts with the patient drinking 3 cups of water. After which, he will down another 2 cups of water in 1 hour's time, every hour. Repeat procedure for as long as humanly possible.

Of course, the patient is allowed to visit the Klo. But after each visit, he has to drink another 1 cup of water.

Sick of hearing people telling you to drink more water when you're down with a flu? With the 3-2-1 method, no one will ever dare say that to you again!

Having a flu? Give it a try! Any source of potable water will do. Any cup with a minimum volume of 0.2 litres can be used.

It worked for me. The last time I had a runny nose, it took me only 4 hours on the program before I recovered!

Note: Results may vary. If symptoms persists, please consult a certified doctor. If not for the runny nose, you'll need help anyway after 10 hours.

So, that pretty much tells you what I've been doing the whole day.

Haha. It's not as effective as I want it to be.

Thanks for the good wishes. Haven't really prepared as much as I should to secure a passing grade. Hope your FYP is going along well. Everything will be figured out eventually.

Do you feel yourself having more muscle cramps during your water regime? Headaches that will not go away? Slight nausea? You might just be experiencing electrolyte imbalance! Do take some salt to recompense your salt loss!

No doctor. No cramps.
No doctor. No headaches.
No doctor. No nausea experienced.

Salt loss? You'll be more concerned with kidney problems and high blood pressure eating at the Mensa.
