31th October 2005 - Day 28

The Stuttgart trip did not materialise.

All the museums that I thought I might have an interest in are closed on Mondays. And it didn't make sense to just visit the entrance.

But I will go there. Most probably during the Christmas Market period, since Stuttgart apparently has the largest Christmas Market in Germany.

After lunch, I went back to hostel to get my Studien
bescheinigung done, though I do not know what it is for. I forgot my password and I spent 30 minutes trying to figure it out. Luckily there's no lock-out for 3 wrong password. With the file in PDF format, I went to the Rechenzentrum to get it printed.

I met up with Nan after that to get another computer account at another computer lab. Unlike in NUS which uses the same user name and password at all computer labs, I have to register for the different computer labs under different user names. It's quite troublesome having to remember so many alphabets and numbers.

I decided to do some grocery shopping since tomorrow is a holiday. There were loads of people in the supermarket. I waited for about half an hour before it was my turn.

Anyway, the reason for the holiday is because the 1st of November is All Saints' Day. It's quite similar to Qing Ming in a sense that people go to Friedhof to visit relatives' graves. But it's only a holiday in certain districts (generally Catholic regions like
Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland).

There's a Hausfest here tonight to celebrate Halloween. I went to help out in some preparation work and the selling of "Bloody Orgasm". It's really quite difficult to help when I don't really understand what people are doing and what they are talking about. It's also not easy to sell something when I can't explain properly what is "Bloody Orgasm". But it was quite fun selling it with Erik and Järs.

After the shift ended, I went along with Erik and his friend, Benjamin. I had some red wine (which I thought was...*puke*...) and a shot of Ouzo. Ouzo is some alcoholic drink from Greece, which reminded me of liqourice. After which, I was drunk. I dropped my phone when I took it out of the pocket. I couldn't speak properly. All my grammar were non-existent.

Then everyone's faces were distorted.

Nah. Just joking. It's not that bad.

I came back, grabbed my camera, and began shooting around.

I only know the names of the 2 in the middle

Pumpkins

So, I came back and slept while the party went on.

Nah. I just get drunk easily. Not like some seasoned Russian who drinks alcohol like water.
