9th October 2005 - Day 6

My first Sunday in Karlsruhe.

It was mostly spend lying around in Bed, chatting online with friends, and doing some nonsensical things like work out how much I'll need every month here.

Opps. Looks like I've to be more thrifty.

Anyway, I was invited by Alex for Kaffee und Kuchen. Alex is this guy who went to Singapore in 2004 for his internship. He says that he enjoyed himself in Singapore. He also started learning chinesisch then.

I got to know 3 more Chinese here through the Kaffee und Kuchen. Alex's girlfriend is a Chinese and she invited 2 more friends along. Somehow, I feel it's wonderful to speak some native language once in a while in Ausland to people who can understand it.

It was quite an enjoyable Nachmittag. Before we knew it, it was already 0820. Alex prepared some spaghetti for dinner, I didn't eat a lot because my stomach wasn't feeling too well.

So, I went back to my room and slept all the way until this morning. A pretty boring Sunday, but it's not something I can do back in Singapore.
