17th January 2006 - Day 92

During class today, I saw a Turkish girl flipping through her dictionary as the lecturer went on to explain some of the stuffs.

Come to think of it, I don't recall seeing this girl since...early November!

I'm just letting the power of assumption run freely. No checking of dictionary in class. Some sort of Frau Neumann's style, though I've only been in her class for one semester.

It was raining the whole day here. I noticed that on days when it rains or snow, it's actually warmer than on days when it doesn't. Could it be because of the cloud cover?

Concentrating in afternoon class was not too difficult. Fell asleep momentarily for about 5 minutes but stayed wide awake for the rest of the hour or so.

I finally found out what does the symbol "!=" means. In C Programming, it's supposed to mean "not equal to" (if I remember correctly).

In this case, the "!" is supposed to be right on top of the "=" symbol.
Because of limitations, I can only put the symbol as such.

It means "gleichsetzen" or rather, equating the left side to the right side. Not much different from just putting a "=" sign. But they just have to make it so very exact.

So, till tomorrow.
